TIE is organizing a meeting with key partners who have been engaged in the provision of in-service training for teachers. The objectives of this meeting are: (1) to share experience on the said training and come out with harmonized Continuous Professional Development (CPD) materials within the Teachers Continuous Professional Development (TCPD) framework; and (2) to introduce the established TIE’s online Learning Management System for Teachers (LMST) whose purpose is to allow teachers access the available materials.

This meeting will provide an opportunity for partners to share the respective CPD materials they have developed (covering programme timeframe, content, approval status, geographical coverage and scale, delivery modality, and the number of teachers reached), and provide a discussion on the wider coverage and establishment of the online platform and the way forward.

The meeting is scheduled to take place in Dar es Salaam on the 30th and 31st of October, 2019 at TIE premises from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. This meeting will involve Government institutions and agencies (TIE and ADEM), academic institutions, development partners, CSOs and NGOs.
